Constitutional Democracy as Content and Practice - Guardian of Democracy Bronze Certified Badge

This course focuses on understanding how to teach constitutional democracy as content and practice across disiplines K-12  and how this pedagogical practice can equip young people with the knowledge, dispositions, and skills to be “Guardians of Democracy”. Further, this course will enhance the practice of educators with strategies and resources to facilitate civic learning across disciplines with appropriate knowledge grounding, disciplinary tools and and reflective practice. This course will take place over a 5 week period, with one module opening each week for participants to complete. Completion of all modules, assignments, Portfolio of Practice activities and satisfactory performance on the discussions is required to receive the Bronze Level Guardians of Democracy Badge.
