If you are a math teacher, you've probably heard about Building Thinking Classrooms. Maybe you want to learn more or perhaps you've tried BTC and want to refine your practice. Whether this is your introduction to BTC or an opportunity to go deeper into the practices, join us for a book study before the school year begins! 

Although the book study will center around the original (orange) book Building Thinking Classrooms, we will also explore the new research and tasks shared in the new BTC book, Mathematics Tasks for the Thinking Classroom Grades 6-12.

A copy of Building Thinking Classrooms is required. The newer Mathematics Tasks for the Thinking Classroom Grades 6-12 is a helpful companion text, but not required.
