While this workshop is designed as a follow up to “Understanding Achievement, Growth and High-Ability Learners”, participation in the prior workshop is not a prerequisite for this session. Are your high-ability learners growing at an appropriate pace and how do you know? Does student readiness for instruction align with placement or services? Now, more than ever, accurate measurement of learning and growth is imperative to keep students moving forward. High-ability learners often look “fine” in school-based achievement data systems. This session will explore best data practices for making level of service decisions and measuring growth for high-ability students. Bring your data and your questions for this interactive session!
