Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning Training: NEW School Guide to Support Implementing SEL System-wide
Using CASEL's NEW School Guide, this session will provide district or school teams with a conceptual and practical roadmap for high-quality system-wide SEL implementation that can lead to positive district, school, and student outcomes. As a result of the session participants will be able to: explain social and emotional learning SEL and its relevance to all students' academic success and positive student development describe how SEL is taught and learned, and how it integrates with other district initiatives plan for and execute high-quality, system-wide SEL implementation and facilitate the learning activities from the workshop in the district and/or school. Teams are required. You are encouraged to include administrators, student services, teachers, and community members on your team.
